'Twilight,' Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus Win At The People's Choice Awards

Sandra Bullock and the cast of 'Glee' also go home with trophies, as Johnny Depp is awarded Actor of the Decade.

The 36th Annual People's Choice Awards kicked off awards season Wednesday (January 6) with a star-studded spectacle hosted by Queen Latifah at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The biggest celebrities in music, television and film were honored by the fans who support them, with a record 60 million votes cast in deciding the winners.

The top honors for the night went to "Twilight," which led the multi-nomination contenders with four wins across six categories. "New Moon" star Taylor Lautner took home Favorite Breakout Movie Star and shared Favorite On-Screen Team with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, as "Twilight" took Favorite Movie and "The Twilight Saga" took Favorite Franchise.

Video: Cobra Starship Takes 2010 People's Choice Stage With Nicole Scherzinger

On Wednesday, January 6, Cobra Starship shared the 36th Annual People's Choice Awards stage with Nicole Scherzinger, and video of their duet has been made available. The rock band is joined by The Pussycat Dolls' lead singer after delivering a short performance on their single "Hot Mess".

The collaboration sees the Gabe Saporta-fronted band and 31-year-old Scherzinger performing "Good Girls Go Bad". Scherzinger fills in the verses which is sung by "Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester in the studio recording. Their performance at the awards was introduced by Colbie Caillat and Demi Lovato.

While Cobra Starship had a duet with Nicole Scherzinger, another performer for the night Mary J. Blige took the stage by herself. The R&B performer delivered one of the singles from her new album"Stronger With Each Tear", "I Am". The video of her performance has also been made available for viewing.

Video: Queen Latifah Pokes Fun at 'New Moon' on 2010 People's Choice

Serving as a host to the 36th Annual People's Choice Awards for the fourth time, Queen Latifah didn't miss a chance at parodying "The Twilight Saga's New Moon". During the awards' gala ceremony on Wednesday, January 6, the 39-year-old singer/actress can be seen in a video acting out as Bella Swan in the film's scene where Edward Cullen dumps the mortal beauty.

Giving a ticklish twist to the footage, the Academy Award-nominated actress is captured trying to persuade Robert Pattinson's Edward to host the award show. She continuously riffed off of Pattinson's lines from the film with her hilarious responses. When he finally leaves her, she exclaims, "Fine, disappear. I'll just get the werewolf to do the show." MTV has made available a preview at her spoof video.

Carrie Underwood and Sandra Bullock, Early Winners of 2010 People's Choice

The 36th annual People's Choice Awards is underway at the Nokia Theatre, and some of the early winners have been unveiled. Among the first to be revealed as the recipients of this year People's Choice are country star Carrie Underwood, who won Favorite Country Artist, and A-list actress Sandra Bullock, who has been hailed as Favorite Movie Actress.

Underwood, who will be making her TV debut on a March episode of "How I Met Your Mother", beat out Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift for the title. Upon receiving the award, she said, "Obviously, a great 2009 for me, and that was because of the fans. Thank you so much for voting. It's going to be an even better 2010."

Bullock, in the meantime, collected her title for besting over Anne Hathaway, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Aniston and Kristen Stewart. She also took the stage along with co-star Ryan Reynolds

Nicole Scherzinger Glams Up for 2010 People's Choice Awards

Hollywood stars have stepped out to 2010 People's Choice Awards, and among those showing off their best red carpet look is Nicole Scherzinger. The lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls, who is expected to make a collaboration with Cobra Starship on the award show, worked on the red carpet in her skin-hugging bronze dress.

While Scherzinger opted to go with a floor-touching dress, several other celebrities such as Carrie Underwood, Sandra Bullock, Kate Walsh, Diane Kruger and Lea Michelle coming to the event were seen wearing shorter dresses. Carrie, in particular, was styled in Christian Cota's strapless dress complete with a pair of Rock & Republic shoes.
