Storyline

A stylish Tabrez Khan (Akshay Kumar) is depicted as Tees Maar Khan, a smart conman. He proclaims himself as semi-Robin Hood, who steals from the rich but does not give it to the poor. His life revolves around robbery and frequent visits to jail. Hired by a robbers' duo, the Johari brothers (Rajiv and Raghu), he plans to rob a train full of treasures, thus making it the greatest phenomenon in his life. On his way, he encounters an Oscar-obsessed film star (Akshaye Khanna), a seductive-and-desiring-to-be-a-superstar-some-day girlfriend (Katrina Kaif) and to accompany him in this heist, an entire village. What follows is a brain-less comedy that heralds the Tees Maar Khan's journey through mystics of the robbery. Written by Chechs

Trivia

Aamir Khan was first offered the film but he rejected it due to him thinking the story and script were both very poor. After that, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were approached but they rejected it for the same reasons. (Salman would later make a special appearance however) Then, Akshay Kumar was approached and accepted since he was in debt and on a flop film streak and needed a film with a big producer to potentially get him a hit film. Thinking this film could be a hit, Akshay signed on, but after the film bombed critically and commercially, he was very upset and this caused a rift between Akshay Kumar and Farah Khan. Akshay would later go on to recover from his flop streak with the film Housefull which released later that year. See more »

Worst Movie of 2010
26 December 2010 | by (India) – See all my reviews

TMK is the worst movie of 2010. The story is awful and direction of Farah Khan is even more awful. I wish Farah had put more effort in script rather than songs. Apart from Akshay Kumar nothing is this movie is good. Some of his cheeky dialogues will make you laugh but again its not worth to watch the movie.

Movie has copied several scenes from various movies and Farah has tried to put all Masala in the movie for which she is famous for. But unfortunately story don't have the weight to carry this movie. Senseless jokes are not going to make a movie entertaining.

Don't watch the movie. That's my verdict. Forget about previous movies of Farah Khan, they were good because of SRK and the direction tips she were getting from Karan Johar. This movie seems good only during the songs.

Worst movie of 2010.
