Trivia

The name plate on Emily Weaver (Julianne Moore)'s desk had a second line, "Associate to the Vice President," not "Associate Vice President." This is undoubtedly a reference to Steve Carell's TV series "The Office," in which there was a running gag about Dwight Shrute having the title "Assistant to the Regional Manager," not "Assistant Regional Manager." Goofs

When Cal begins telling Emily how to re-light the water heater pilot he tells her to open the gray door by sliding it down. As he finishes the directions he tells her not to forget to slide the gray door, "back down", presumably to close it. See more »

Quotes

Bernie Riley: Claire said I can't be friends with you anymore.
Cal: What?
Bernie Riley: She said we had to choose between you and Emily. I chose you. But she said no.

Crazy,Stupid, Love Movie
6 August 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I wasn't sure if I wanted to see this movie at the theater, but I am really glad I did. The characters are well played out, not very likable at first, but after you get to know the cast, you really feel for everyone. I thought Julianne Moore & Steve Carrell had great chemistry with their relationship. Super script, nice directing, great casting with Robbie, the son. This movie will surprise you at how good it is. I loved how you saw the characters at work, at home, at the bar & with their friends. This was very well played out & comes together in the end extremely well. Ryan Gosling is very hot even when he is sleazy. Great date night movie!!
