• Petra : [Looks at obituaries on the wall]  Look at all these new victims of the laughing pandemic, Iva. It says here, "Vojko Vojnovic. He was accidentally given laughing gas by a dentist. The guy was laughing for 306 consecutive hours, they had to put him to sleep." He was suffering for 306 hours, poor guy. Life is really boring without humor.

  Iva : I know. I miss watching all those comedies. They even blocked everything on the Internet. All humorous content.

  Petra : [Shows Iva her mobile phone]  Hey, I found this illegal website...

  Iva : Let me see!

  Petra : On it, you can watch funny video clips.

  Iva : Yes, yes!

  Petra : There is this video... It is really funny... A cat jumps on a dog's back... And the dog runs off and falls from balcony... While the cat jumps away from the dog and saves itself...

  [They watch the video and giggle] 

  Politician : [Spots them giggling from afar]  What are you two doing here? Where are your 'cheekers'?

  [Petra and Iva put the paper trails on their cheeks] 

  Politician : Were you laughing or what were you doing?

  Iva : No, no, we were just watching erotic movies. For grown ups.

  Politician : Are you telling the truth?

  [pause] 

  Politician : I don't know, for a moment there you sounded very suspicious, doubtful. I was worried that... but you did laugh, I clearly heard it.

  Petra : The actors were just chubby, wacky, so we just giggled a bit. As a reflex. We would never deliberately cause an accident by watching something funny.

  Politician : Don't laugh. Laughing is a serious matter. I don't know if you heard in the newspaper... Yesterday. If you heard, they wrote... of a a tragedy in Cinema... Cinema... Cinema... Cinema theater! People thought they were going for a screening of a movie of Swedish director Ingmar Bergman, ''Cries and Whispers'', but instead they got ''Kung Pow''. They mistook ''Cries and Whispers'' for ''Kung Pow''. And what happened? For a whole hour they didn't notice the stench of corpses. 56 dead souls. Laughing, snickering hysterically... Of course, they were dead, but their faces remained petrified from laughter. They couldn't endure it. 56 people lying there, in a massacre. The police arrived on the scene. They stopped the screening of ''Kung Pow'' half way in, they removed the tape. Celluloid. They burned it and threw it into the trash. They threw the whole trash into the cinema... Cinema theater. And burned everything to the ground. They had to disinfect it all. It was a massacre! So don't joke around. And you know what happened to my grandma? You know... You don't know my grandma? She was watching National Geographic, a documentary about frogs which fart into their own faces. My grandma couldn't hold it in anymore. After three hours, the neighbors came and threw her out of the window. My grandma, not the frog. In fact. she threw herself out, since she couldn't endure so much laughter anymore. So don't joke around. Don't you dare to laugh!
