Khan Review - Not that good to be 10 not bad to be 1

I agree this movie was streched could have edited into short & sleek with some thriller scenes which was easy to add in this script. But even the movie is long compare to story line I won't say it was made slow and boring. The maker attempted something different which is encouraged, the location was good but again for this subject they should have made it look creepy but they failed, the background score if right could have been a big plus point. The story is simple nothing of suspense but was ok made good enough to watch one time , it is entertaining but definitely not a block buster or a great movie. All actors did good job. If you need time pass with some thing different this is watchable.

Good Experimental Movie

A haunted feeling surrounded throughout the movie. Luke can be better. Main thread of the story is strong. Performance of other actors and also the song lyrics are just average.

Cliched wannabe 'arty-farty' nonsense

The story takes place in a resort like every other crappy same geography set movie with a caretaker cum escort leading a double life, she is insecure and unstable in the inside. She is accompanied by a helper who is seduced to engage in all kinds of mind altering debauchery. The majority of the rest of the movie is just the housekeeper using her funny libidinous appeal, falling prey to the noises in her head.

As this clichéd mess was destined for, there's a cop who shows up to push the dull story. Btw, the mentally unstable accomplice is reduced to a pawn and yearns for biryani (pun intended) until the awful last act. He does the predictable and wander around aimlessly as he does in the runtime.

The theme of power dynamics (victim and executioner) with "manipulation" has been done to death in the psychological thriller genre. This one is a dull movie with stilted acting, horrible clichéd ending. It's barely thrilling and oozes of hippie soundtrack and funny cocaine sniffing.

And here I thought that Don Palatahra's Santhoshathinte Onnam Rahasyam (2021) was the worst movies of 2021. Then No Man's Land comes along and takes the title.

That being said, please don't bother unless you like wasting your time watching pretentious amateur cinema.

Experimental movie. It's nothing we have not seen in Hollywood movies. Nevertheless, good attempt for a debutant. Actors have done a considerably good job. Average story line.

Overstretched movie. Avoid

Just 30 mins story made lengthy about 2hrs. There is no thrill, no suspense. Scenes are simply stretched to fill the screen time. Bg music, songs are just awful. English songs are added which doesn't suit the movie. Acting is worse from all . Sumitra has same expression entire movie. Every third scene is either sumitra smoking / doing drugs/ drinking/ love making. The reason for killing people is just silly. Don't go by the rating. Just avoid it.

Nice Sreenplay

Screen Play is unique nd nice climax. Lukman and sreeja das did excellent job 👏 its a Blockbuster of 2021 🙏. Location and DOP is Excellent..Please go and watch at the earliest 👍.

Pure trash

None of the characters, barring young couple, seems to have human elements. The main character is a pure evil. The movie once again reminds the need to bring OTT content under censor as every few minutes we are forced to see drnking, drugs and debauchery. There is nothing sublime in it. It's trash, pure and simple 😡

Extremely & inexplicably slow movie

Easily 30 minutes could have been edited in this movie. Not sure what the director is trying to communicate in this movie. End was thoroughly unbelievable and disappointing. Film is trying to sound intelligent whereas it is not. Waste of time.

Don't fall for the ratings

As somebody else wrote, it is indeed a wannabe art house movie. I am surprised by the number of 10 on 10 star rating for these kind of movie. Agreed it can be considered as an experimental movie, but that doesn't warrant a perfect rating for such a making. My honest opinion : watch this only if you don't have anything else to watch.

This is a great entertainer !Good movie in movie some scenes are realistic and some scenes are dramatic or cinematic. Editing is good. All Actors nailed it. Sreeja is too Good.

Do not bother watching this movie. There is zero character development, zero motive, zero story. I understand this is the first movie from this director. And one may say that the direction is okay for a newbie. But I beg him to never write his own story again.

It's a Thriller movie. Everyone did well. Director Jishnu is able to give good space to all key characters. First half has all elements. Enjoyed a lot. Second half could have been better. Too much of Interesting sequences.

Cannot believe people have rated 10. Its a bad movie. The housekeepers is pure evil. The male worker behaves like a retard for the full movie but in the last scene talks like a normal person - makes no sense.

Experimental movie but why make a movie which makes no sense and purpose. People raving about this movie are either fake ones or ses things which are not there in the movie.

Not impressive

I agree with this experiment. But over exposing the usage pf alcohol and drugs isn't mean your achieving requem of dream and enter the void mood.

Music and Editing is average btw.

I've seen almost 30% film that simply they are drinking alcohol.

I'm the big fan pf enter the void and requiem of dream and enter the void.

They made technically brilliant.

You cant just avoid the cinematography and music pattern of those films.

But here we can avoid this film as well.

I'll give 4 because of that climax.

Otherwise nothing.

Drugs intake scene

I agree it was a great attempt to shoot this movie but I don't understand why you need to show the young generation how to take bad drugs, alcohol, etc. The movie is so pathetic in highlighting those dirty idiotic scenes of taking drugs. I dislike the film overall.

Excellent film. . Very entertaining, class + mass + Thriller entertainer. All will like this film. Songs & bgm are huge plus. Lukman is nice. Sudhi kopa always superb.

NIce Thriller

The story was really good for this genre. All the major characters have a motivation for their actions. Especially sudhi koppa. The cinematography was good. Lukman nailed it. BGM is superb. Sreeja das shows outstanding performance.

The highlight of the movie is acting of Sreeja Das and lukman. .Director worked hard really for this movie, that's appreciable. He blended Thriller and Drama very well in this movie.
