  • The pathologists are all involved in examining the death of Ruth Gardiner who either jumped or was pushed on the top of a very tall building. The original examination of the site was done in the pouring rain and several clues were missed. The new evidence indicates that she was shot in the head before her fall. From the evidence they've managed to collect, it seemed that she was conducting surveillance on someone living in the flat opposite hers in the next building. They learn that she was working for an undercover policeman, Perter Carmody, but the DI in charge of the case, Barry Neill, says no such person exists. Carmody meanwhile tells his girlfriend that Neill is bent and out to get him. On a different issue, Harry Cunningham learns that a family friend of his parents whom he much admired has died. He gets another surprise after telling his mother of his passing.
