Tony and Ziva interview a builder of jetpacks, and Ziva snaps a portrait; McGee learns about the builder's ex-wife, who's also the builder's top competitor; McGee questions the builder, then the builder's high-power lawyer shows up, starts talking, and keeps on talking. Ducky suggests an interesting alternate explanation, then Gibbs shows a piece of paper. The gang put the pieces together, and Tony brings in the bad guy by remote control. Did You Know?

When McGee's jet pack video is over, we see that it is a "Thom E. Gemcity" production. This is an anagram for Timothy McGee, which is his pseudonym as a writer. See more »

When discussing the propellants used by the jet-pack, McGee states that the use of Hydrogen Peroxide and Kerosene as fuels is highly unusual. This mix of fuels was used extensively by the British between 1955 and 1971 for a number of very successful rockets, culminating in the Black Arrow space launch vehicle. See more »

Special Agent Jethro Gibbs: So McGee, do you know what killed Lt Commander Sayers?
Special Agent Timothy McGee: I think I do.
Special Agent Jethro Gibbs: You *think*, or you *know*?
Special Agent Timothy McGee: I know one thing, his jetpack exploded.
Special Agent Jethro Gibbs: Jetpacks?... Yeah, it's going to be a weird one.

active part in story line. McGee is in total error about 1 having to possess delicate hand coordination to maintain level flight with a Jet Pack, no more difficult than maintaining a steady speed operating a motor cycle, snow mobile, or a jet ski, actually more simple considering there are far less obstacles to get in your way. Victor Tillman's opinion about controlling the pack with a fly by wire remote is impractical, considering who would want someone else doing the flying for them, unless the pilot/passenger is incapacitated and incapable of control. Other than those points it was a fairly entertaining episode.
