The mayor says, "I seem to remember, there was a guy who got incredible powers from being bitten by a radioactive bug." Wolverine replies, "Oh, come on. You made that up." Actually he DID make it up. The mayor is voiced by comic book legend Stan Lee. One of Stan's many creations is Spider-Man, a character who got powers after being bitten by a radioactive spider. The mayor's line, "With great responsibility comes great power, and vice versa." is a reference to Uncle Ben's line, "With great power comes great responsibility" from the Spider-Man series, which Stan Lee (the voice of the mayor) created. When Egghead is talking with Dr. Doom, he presses on his music player, which is supposedly attached to the left side of his lab coat. We see the music player in close-up when he presses on it, but it's not visible at any other time in the scene. For comparison, check it out in the next scene while Egghead is aboard the Squad's flying headquarters. This shows that it would have been clearly visible in the previous scene. See more »
