A good movie but don't compare it with the novel
16 November 2016 | by (Malaysia) – See all my reviews

Yes..it's a bit disappointing if you compare it to the novel version. Apart from the changes in the movie scene, the whole story line much less the same as in the novel. Some of the details and chemistry between Daniel and Lucinda was not highlighted in this movie and some characters must be clearly described in order for the audiences who did not read the novel to get a deep understanding on this movie. But I do wonder why is the "white peonies" does not appear in the scenes because that symbolize the love between Luce and Daniel. Overall, the whole movie is okay....and I love both of them, Jeremy Irvine and Addison Timlin plays the character of Daniel and Lucinda....
