Storyline

A Russian ship, carrying some sugar and wheat, is legally prevented with a lien from leaving Toronto. The captain believes that the CIA is behind the plot because the sugar is from Cuba. King and Fox are the go-betweens as they try find the mysterious company, Amalgamated Trading, behind the lien. At the same time, a Russian sailor who is the captain's son is hospitalised with a fever of an unknown origin. When Amalgamated Trading is actually found to be a Soviet front, Fox and King have to find out what is happening and the link between all the events. Written by jem
