TV Ratings Report: Hunted Debuts Well

CBS launched Hunted last night out of the Afc Championship and it pulled in solid ratings. 

CBS: Afc Championship (41.3 million/ 13.4 rating) and Hunted (10.8 million/3.7 rating) were the top two telecasts of the night. 

Fox: It was encores of The Simpsons (2.6 million/1.0 rating), Family Guy (2.1 million/1.0 rating) and Bob's Burgers (2 million/0.9 rating), while an original episode of Son of Zorn (2 million/0.9 rating) took a hit. 

ABC: It was encores of To Tell The Truth (3.1 million/0.6 rating) and Quantico (1.7 million/0.3 rating).

NBC: Ted (2.3 million/0.6 rating) aired in place of Sunday Night Football.

TV Ratings Report: Golden Globes Down, Fox Comedies Surge

Jimmy Fallon may have got the audiences laughing at his jokes throughout the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards, but he did not send the show upwards in the ratings. 

NBC: The 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards (16.7 million/4.8 rating) look down 7 tenths from last year, but NBC will likely release time-zone adjusted ratings today. 

Fox: The Simpsons (12.7 million/4.9 rating), Son of Zorn (5.3 million/2.3 rating), Family Guy (4.1 million/1.8 rating) and Bob's Burgers (3.4 million/1.5 rating) reaped the benefits of an NFL lead in. 

ABC: It was two hours of To Tell The Truth (4.5 million/1.0 rating) and an original episode of Conviction (2.7 million/0.5 rating). 

CBS: NCIS: Los Angeles (10.4 million/1.3 rating) took a hit, while Madam Secretary (8.9 million/0.9 rating) and Elementary (5.2 million/0.7 rating) were in line with recent ratings.

'Walking Dead,' 'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Scandal' Among PaleyFest 2017 Lineup

PaleyFest 2017 has rounded out its lineup.

Set to open the March 17-26 event is AMC's The Walking Dead, with Grey's Anatomy, Bob's Burgers, The Late Late Show, NCIS: Los Angeles, Orphan Black, Pretty Little Liars, Scandal and a CW DC Super Hero event included among the schedule.

Bad Dads is still on the release roster, but a proper Bad Moms sequel will be with us in ten months' time...

We missed this over Christmas, but it turns out there was some progress with regards the, er, Bad Moms movie universe. Following the success of the first film last summer, with Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn leading Bad Moms to box office glory, Stx announced Bad Dads. This didn’t go down too well, given that the DVD shelves of pretty much any store aren’t shy for films of men behaving badly. Bad Moms actually felt a bit fresh for not going down that path.

Back in 2011, Warner Bros seemed to be on the cusp of getting its DC movie universe together. The Dark Knight Rises was a year away from release, plans were coming together for the Superman reboot that would become Man Of Steel. And the studio had the hugely expensive Green Lantern lined up for a summer release.
