South Park meets Sausage Party
felixunderwood13 February 2017
I am a huge fan of these types of animated cartoon feature films. South Park, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, and The Simpsons have been my go-to animated movies for years and I'm always excited when one I haven't seen comes along. Sausage Party is a new addition to that list, and now so is The Trouble with Terkel.

Team America is another one of my favorites but that's not really animated, so I can't really include it in this aside from using the humor as a good comparison. The Trouble with Terkel is right up there in terms of that style of joking around.

First let me say that, this ain't no Disney movie! So get that idea right out of your head. If you're looking for that kind of animated film then I dare say you won't like this. However, if you do like the over-the-top gags and the semi-crude joke now and again, then you'll like this. If you're a fan of South Park and The Simpsons, I'd even say if you're like me then you will love it.

The story follows a bullied kid (Terkel) who has parents that don't care or listen and a disaffected best friend. He's got a school staff that all but ignores him and a couple of bullies that ruin his existence. But that all changes when something in particular happens (I don't want to ruin it) and his life and priorities get a bit screwed up.

As things get crazier, Terkel reaches out to his completely nutty and hilarious Uncle who is too busy singing, dancing, drinking, and cavorting to pay any attention and has zero interest in actually helping him.

Terkel ends up on an overnight school camping trip where the tension really ramps up and there's a nice plot twist leading to a really great showdown. And at the end of the movie there's a funny animated outtake reel that runs along with the credits, which I enjoyed.

So if you're into the South Park, Beavis and Butt-Head style of funny, you will dig this movie.

Weird little film
ckelly-3576330 July 2017
So this movie was originally released in 2004 and was the first danish computer animated called Terkel in Trouble. As so the animation is not very good. Years later this weird little film was released as a dubbed American version (this film). The plot is basically a young boy named Terkel lives a miserable existence and is frequently bullied by 2 merciless bullies named Nigel and Saki. His miserable life takes a turn for the worse when it becomes apparent someone wants him dead. Even though the animation sucks some of the jokes are pretty funny and the twist at the end of who Terkel's tormentor's is is pretty good. Then again for every good joke we get a joke like a character named Dick Ball sack. Also the character of Jason is SOOO annoying because he frequently tries to use slang and the musical numbers are pointless. Overall if you enjoy South Park and Sausage Party then go ahead. If you don't, then you probably won't like this film.

Absolute Garbage for making this S#*T!!!
fishielemondude2 February 2017
This Movie sucks because of The unfinished animation and writing is so Bad! "0/10" don't watch it in theatre's this is garbage, they attempt to make a rated R version of Pixar but Sausage Party is the first rated R movie since they had better animations, don't watch this stupid movie about Terkel, It's an unfunny movie with awful characters and the plot is so painful since Boyhood. Take South Park with Disney Pixar to Beavis and Butthead and make it into a fully texture disgusting Animation in CGI that was downright cheap, or worst, "I Hate You Indican Pictures, you made the worst company of all time since you made Terkel Trashed"

Animation 0/10

Plot 0/10

Story 0/10

Background 0/10

In 2004 the original language was Danish, but then they had 2 dubbed language like Sweden and German but they ended up into an English Dub in America, I don't recommend this movie, I give no stars for you.
