Witnessing The Baptism Of Jesus By John The Baptist
As Professor Humphrey Bumble continues to fail in doing the necessary repairs on the flying house,we get to see our main characters - Justin,Angie,Corkey and SIR - move forward a few decades and find themselves with both Jesus and John The Baptist all grown up as young men.
When they crash land in the Jordan River, our young main characters get to meet a young fisherman named Joab, one of the many young children they are going to meet in the episodes to come just like Moab, the young shepherd during the birth of Jesus.Later, they get to know a man who is called John The Baptist, who was perceived by the many Israelites as the messiah. Also,we see Jesus leaves Mary and his town Nazareth to fulfill his mission. When they meet Jesus, they were all surprised on his kindness as well as his humility especially when they saw how Jesus asked John The Baptist to baptize him in the River Jordan especially when the reverse should have happened. The episode ended they saw Jesus leave for the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. In it,they get to know to have faith in God as they see Jesus having no worries about the test that he is about to undergo from Satan.
I would like to commend the outstanding voice actor - Ray Owens - for his work in providing the voice of Jesus. His deep voice simply unforgettable and suits the character that he is playing as well. Also, the lesson of humility and having faith in God - the basic tenets of the Christian religion was finally introduced into the series. And most of all,I like how the episode finally gave reasons how our main characters felt a connection with Jesus Christ not only as a historical figure nor a prophet but rather a person that would truly influence their lives just as like the young viewers.
