When Joab tells Justin, Angie and Corky that he will sail to the edge of the Earth when he grows up, Justin laughs at him and says that it would be impossible because the Earth is round. Angie shushes him, telling Justin that they have traveled back in time before Columbus found out that the Earth is round, and so Justin shouldn't reveal future discoveries. However, contrary to popular belief, Christopher Columbus was not the first person to discover that the Earth is spherical - Pythagoras had the idea in the sixth century BC, and Aristotle found the physical evidence for it about 200 years later. John The Baptist Baptizes People In The Jordan River
27 May 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

When the Flying House fails to go back to the 20th century,it crash lands in the Jordan River where Justin,Angie,Corkey,SIR and Professor Bumble meets Joab, a young fisherman.Later, they get to meet a crowd who are being baptized by John The Baptist, who is being acknowledge by many of them as the messiah. But in spite of baptizing many people who have converted from their sins,he tells everyone that he isn't one that the Israelites are expecting. Later,Justin,Angie,Corkey,SIR and Joab meet Jesus and begin a personal relationship with him.The episode concludes when Jesus gets baptized dramatically by John The Baptist in the Jordan River.

The baptism of Jesus by John The Baptist was definitely a great and unforgettable moment of the series. We get to hear God proclaiming Jesus as his son as a bright light is shown on Jesus with an invisible dove going down on him.Everyone in the crowd was simply astounded including Joab and the major characters. That would probably be the same reaction of the viewer watching. Also,we get to see the beginning of the relationship between Jesus and the major characters and the latter learning different Christian virtues and values from this episode until the future ones. But nevertheless, it was fun to see them learn Christian values such as acknowledgment of sins and trying to become better people from John The Baptist as they listen to him.Too bad that they could have learned more from John The Baptist but they only had this episode dedicated to both our major characters and him as they focused to Jesus as early as possible. Nevertheless, this episode remains one of the best and probably one of the unforgettable ones.
