In The Secret Agent,Justin,Angie,Corkey and SIR meets Isaac and Aida when they found a pigeon that belongs to them. They befriended each other and invited them to a festival in Jerusalem.
Then,we get to see Jesus and his disciples go to the temple.Jesus was dismayed with the merchants and money-changers conducting business and selling products in it that he asked them to leave angrily.Caiaphas, the high priest and the Pharisees saw what transpired. They decide all the more to conspire against Jesus.Apparently,Aida was a friend of Caiaphas and was asked to become a spy for Jesus. She cooperated and decided to become a servant Jesus, whom she blamed for the death of his father who happens to be a Pharisee. But as she got to know him,she realized that he is a good man.But later, she got to realize that she is being manipulated by Caiaphas and decided to end her mission for him.
This episode have dark elements. It consists of having a young girl attempting to kill Jesus.Aside from that,we get to see Caiaphas manipulate her in her evil schemes. Finally,we get to see the high priest out the blame on Jesus for the death of his father.I felt that it was too much for young viewers.Although this is not found in the scriptures,I felt the writers who took a creative license on the story wanted to paint a picture about Caiaphas and the Pharisees particularly on how evil they were. Also,it was a preparation of things to come particularly on the passion and death of Jesus in the succeeding episodes. As for the lessons learned,we get to see conversion take place particularly on Aida. Also, learn about forgiveness particularly when Jesus forgives Aida. Finally,we also realize about how the temple should be used for primarily for worship and not for conducting business.
