Characteristics Of God
12 February 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Just like the previous episode,we once again witness Angie telling two parables to the rest of the gang in the Flying House. Both stories provides the viewer insights on certain characteristics of God.

The first parable was The Good Shepherd. This was told by Angie to both Justin and SIR while looking for the missing Corkey. The story was about a shepherd who is taking care of a hundred sheep. Then one of them was missing like Corkey.Instead of ignoring it,the shepherd decided to look for the missing sheep after having the ninety-nine settled. He was fervent in his search and even battled with a wolf who was about to harm the missing sheep. After killing the wolf, the shepherd was extremely happy and overjoyed after the search. At the end of the story, they were able to locate Corkey, who fell on a hole. The parable provides us a certain characteristic of God among his children.Just like the sheep,he will always take care of us and will never leave us behind. He also will never forsake us nowhere.Aside from that,he will always be there for us especially when we need him the most.

The second parable is about the Workers Of The Vineyard. This was told by Angie after seeing Justin relax outside the Flying House while everyone else is busy cleaning. The story was about the recruitment of workers by a certain master. The master recruited workers every two hours to complete the job necessary at the vineyard. With that,it was evident that the workers did not work the same number of hours. The first group recruited worked eight hours while the last group recruited worked only an hour. The first group expected to get paid the most but were surprised to find out that everyone got the same amount and the last group was paid first with the first group being paid last.Once more, the we get to learn characteristic of God about favoring the meek and the humble instead of the proud and the arrogant.Added to that,we also get to see how much reward the humble get as compared to that of the arrogant ones.
