Unwilling Witnesses To The First Christmas
11 October 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

After Professor Humphrey Bumble listened to the narration of the first adventure of Justin,Angie and Corkey as well as SIR when they assisted Mary and helped her with Elizabeth's delivery of John The Baptist,he tried to do the necessary repairs of the Flying House to get them back to the 20th century.Unfortunately,it only moved them six months forward.

Upon landing, they all met Joseph and Mary, who are on their journey towards Bethlehem as the latter is about to give birth. As the story moves forward,Justin,Angie,Corkey and SIR became unwilling witnesses to the birth of Jesus. They witnessed how it all happened at a manager in Bethlehem and met the important players like the Three Wise Men;the young shepherd whom the the trio - Justin,Angie and Corkey - assisted in tending his flock of sheep; and the soldiers of King Herod, who were ordered to kill all young infants below two years of age after realizing that the baby will become a threat to his kingship. There were a lot of funny moments in it including SIR sharing a meal with King Herod and everyone inside the manger misleading the soldiers to help Joseph,Mary and the baby Jesus escape towards Egypt.

This was another great adventure to the major characters as they get to witness another birth of a great person in Jesus. Also, they get to like Mary after sharing great moments with her. They also realized Jesus indeed will be the coming messiah whom they were all mistaken for during the first episode after Mary shared the announcement an angel made to her about the said event. It ended when everyone narrated the incident to Professor Bumble, who in part told them that Joseph and Mary would indeed be great parents as they raised Jesus very well.Appreciation of one's parents was pointed out in this episode especially when everyone saw how Joseph and Mary took care of their new son. Also, they realized the virtues of hard work and responsibility of parents towards their child.
