Trivia

Author Stephen King cameos as "Bachman", the cleanup expert. King sometimes writes under the pen name Richard Bachman, including 2 novels that have been adapted to feature films: The Running Man (1987) and Thinner (1996). King was offered the cameo by show creator Kurt Sutter, and later said in an interview, "Ordinarily I would say no but he said he'd put me on a Harley, so here I am." Sutter also assured King that his character would be doing something "suitably nasty." See more »

Goofs

When the IRA men are dumping the body, England flags can be seen hanging across the street in the background. Since this is supposed to take place in Northern Ireland, the flags should either be the flag of Northern Ireland or the Union Jack flag of Great Britain. See more »

The show is beginning to fade!
8 November 2011 | by (Winnipeg) – See all my reviews

The show is beginning to fade. This episode's plot is more about what is happening to the heroin and other business dealing. Does every business dealing have to have a conspiracy to it? The Jenna, and Jax's girlfriend emotional drama is dragging the show down. I find the show is becoming more like a soap opera. Way too much drama! The porn party part of the biker business was projected and all the viewers knew the party would be a bad idea and the fight was inevitable. The fight part saved the show. I give this episode a six out of ten. The series gets silly as the season progresses. I really liked the first season better! I know some of the show's writing is done to create drama, and humor, but there is too many layers of stories, and sub-stories for my liking. I believe the Sopranos formulated a better crime series than the S O A.
