Storyline

With Jax's murder of Salazar, Tara returns home safely. However, Unser and Clay are now left without a way to prove Jacob's involvement in Lumpy's death, and Jax thus may have paved the way for the San Joaquin sheriff's takeover of Charming PD. As Opie proposes to Lyla, Tig and Kozik prove unable to work through their differences. In a desperate move to ensure nothing gets in the way of her deal with Jax, Stahl has murdered Tyler, and continues to push Jax to give up the Irish Kings. However, in an effort to save her son from being seen as a rat by both SAMCRO and the IRA, Gemma decides to turn herself in, threatening the deal and potentially exposing both herself and the Sons to more jail time. As Jax, Clay, Tig, Bobby, Juice and Happy's last day of freedom arrives, they try to figure out a way to have the Russians hand over Jimmy, turning to Sons co-founder, Lenny "The Pimp" Janowitz, who, although serving life behind bars, still has strong links to the Bratva. Goofs

Jimmy O congratulates Putlova on "excellent work" when he examines the fake ID provided by Putlova, but the close-up shot of the bank cards, passports and visas shows that Jimmy, Putlova and Putlova's forgers didn't pay attention. The bank cards are in the name of William Elder, but the two visas are in the name of Elder Williams. Not exactly "excellent work", not for seven hundred thousand dollars. See more »

Even I was fooled...first surprise of the series...smart episode!
17 January 2015 | by See all my reviews

Rating this a 10 out of 10 as the last minute of this episode was the first time I felt surprise in three seasons - or two months of watching the series on DVD!

IMDb is a blessing and a curse because people can see spoilers whether trying to avoid them or not. I don't want to give away any plot points but will say I sure found it curious everyone in the van was laughing. Luckily the letter cleared my confusion!

I've been ignoring the "arm chair screen writing" and "Monday morning directing" and other criticisms that are on the boards. "NS" proved this series is worth every minute. You may have to wait for amazing moments, but any quality drama builds. The best things are worth waiting for and SoA "NS" proves it!
