Funny, Oddball Canadian Series with Extremely Ugly Actors
7 January 2011 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

This series is entertaining, and very ugly. Strictly camp, it is based in a high school where 4 ugly misfits smoke marijuana and foil the machinations of a book of evil, which grants losers wishes that go awry. The stories are pretty good, they are funny but the acting talent is non existent. As this is basically a living cartoon series, that's OK. The special effects are poor and pathetic but they add to the amateurish charm of the show. The actors are all such unattractive people that they are often more horrific and repulsive than any of the monsters the book conjures. Essentially the show is a commercial for teen marijuana use. Ugly to watch but worth a chuckle. 4 out of 10.
