Storyline

Mordred brings a warlock, Alvarr, to see Morgana, and they persuade her to steal a crystal with magical properties from the vaults of Camelot. Alvarr tells her it can be used to help people like themselves with special powers, though he really intends to destroy Camelot with it. Merlin and Arthur pursue him, returning him and the crystal to court. Mordred escapes, and Morgana (having disowned Uther), springs Alvarr from prison by drugging the guards. Merlin, having looked into the crystal, is alarmed by a vision of chaos, but Gaius assures him that it is far into the future. Written by don @ minifie-1

Goofs

To get the crystal Morgana has to take the keys from Arthur's room but when she opens the doors to where the crystal lies she doesn't hesitate to use the correct key even though she took at least five keys. Also you'll notice that when the first door opens towards the camera you can see that there is no locking mechanism like a locking bolt. See more »

Quotes

Arthur: I don't know why I bring you on these expeditions. You spend the whole time terrified.
Merlin: I'm not terrified.
Arthur: Yes you are. I can tell you are.
Merlin: No you can't.
Arthur: If you weren't scared, you would be talking rubbish as usual.
Merlin: I am talking rubbish as usual.
[Arthur smiles]
Merlin: I mean, I am talking as usual, so clearly I'm not scared.
