Storyline

Set during one long night in the LGBT sub-culture of Los Angeles, Daisy and Tyler are two rock and roll musicians who are selected to partake in a battle of the bands contest to claim a prize. But while on their way to the concert, their van breaks down and they are sidetracked by Daisy's younger sister, Colby, a recent college graduate who agrees to drive them to the concert if they help her hook up with her girl-crush; a struggling actress named Misty. Also tagging along is Misty's bisexual best friend Sid, who longs to hook up with a famous celebrity. However, Misty is not interested in hooking up with Colby because she has her sights on Tyler. Meanwhile, Daisy tries to win back her ex-girlfriend, Xan, who is on a date with her latest girlfriend who is competing against Daisy and Tyler's band that very night. Elsewhere, Monique Jones is a violent ex-con recently paroled from prison who comes looking for Daisy and Tyler with a score to settle. Written by Larry B.

Colby Robson: Well, being the good egg is boring.
Daisy Robson: Well, I'm sorry. That's who you are.
Colby Robson: Well now, I'm a good gay egg. Okay?
Tyler Murphy: Yeah, come on let her be a gay egg.
Colby Robson: Thank you.
Daisy Robson: Colby, you've never even touched your own vagina, let alone anyone else's.

Oddly awesome...
18 March 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

OK, so to be truthful, i only started watching this movie because i saw Erin Kelly is in it (love Loving Annabelle). Little did i know she was in the beginning for like a minute. Oh well. The thing is, i forgot it was a musical until they started singing. And then i wanted to keep watching. At times it is admittedly painful to watch, bad lip syncing, daisy's voice for her "musical" numbers don't really fit her natural voice. Tho at the end i was impressed with the bands final number bc you can believe its really her. Easily my favorite song. I thought the acting was good, the songs were mostly great, tho sometimes a little weird. Heres why i like this movie so much tho. It made me smile and laugh out loud. Monique Jones is a hilariously bad over the top bad guy/gal. This movie is not serious at all, nor do i think it tries to be. Its just fun to watch.
