I like Gweneth generally speaking. She loves Nashville and is here often. This movie was poorly written, poorly acted, poorly sung. That guy that is supposed to be the up and coming singer is terrible. Out of all the great singers in Nashville, how did they ever pick this loser? The guitar player players just very simple chords, nothing special. That girl that becomes the love interest, is only a very mediocre singer. Tim McGraw looks so out of place in his regular street clothes. I guess they would have had to pay him more to show up in his country attire. Don't know if Gweneth sang her own songs, but if she did she didn't do as good as Sissy Specek in Coal Miners Daughter
