Storyline

A group called Virtue appears to be brainwashing local teens into leading drink and drug free lives. It is led by a girl called Rachel who acquired the power of suggestion after the storm. However she also seems to be using her powers to gain a more sinister control over people's lives. With the rest of the misfits in her power or out of action, only Nathan, temporarily helped by a person known as Super-Hoodie,stands against her. Infiltrating the community centre, which has become Virtue's headquarters, Nathan fights Rachel on the roof and both fall off. Rachel is killed but Nathan discovers at long last what his super power is. However, has it come too late to be of use to him? Written by don @ minifie-1

"Misfits: Episode #1.6" (2009)
14 January 2012 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

In the series finale of Misfits a strange religious cult is sweeping the area. Of course it's down to a girl with powers, forcing people to be what she considers good. This episode looks at the dangers of forced and insincere goodness. They may be good, but this cult takes away the personalities of the victims. Nathan is left as the sole unbrainwashed member of the gang, and must fight to regain everybody's personality. This is an episode very focused on the main core of the story, and as such the lack of subplots also makes it feel a bit lighter. There isn't so much character development here, but we do see the gang band together to help each other out. The episode seems more concerned with leaving us with cliffhangers for the second series. Sally is frozen in a freezer at the community centre, we get a glimpse of the mysterious character known as Superhoodie, and also we discover Nathan's power. The final shot is great, and once again leaves us with anticipation for what is to follow. I'm glad I didn't have to wait a year to find out what happened next.
