A Family Reunion
6 March 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

After 7 years of prosperity,Egypt started to begin 7 years of famine.Among all the places in the world during this time,it was only Egypt that was able to prepare for it. Thanks primarily to Joseph, the governor appointed by the Pharaoh in Egypt.

Then the sons of Jacob decided to seek help to Egypt as they have been lacking in food during the years of famine. They got to meet the governor whom they failed to recognize as their brother Joseph. They all bowed down. The governor asked for their brother Benjamin. This led to a series of events that tested whether a change for the better has occurred to them after all these years.

This was an great episode about forgiveness, humility, change and love.It was evident that brothers of Joseph have changed for the better while Joseph never held against his brothers any ill feelings nor sought revenge for what happened to him many years back. Also,we get to realize Joseph never became swell headed upon dealing with his brothers. Finally,it was also nice to see how love finally prevailed on Joseph's part despite the brothers' not knowing him.
