Living A Life Of Sin And Prayer
2 October 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

After being notified Uri and Gizmo that Ruffles could probably be in a place called Ephraim,Chris and Joy transported both of them through the personal computer where Superbook is linked to.Apparently, they were sent to the time when the Israelites were conquered by King Eglon and the Moabites.

The Israelites are under the Moabites as God has punished them due to their sinfulness.King Eglon has proposed an increase in tribute which angered many Israelites particularly Ehud and his father. This prompted them to make a plan to finally be free from the Moabites after 18 years.Ehud said a prayer and asked for God's help. Then God responded by providing him instructions on what to do.He molded a sword and decided to make a plan to kill King Eglon during a visit to the palace. After the plan succeeded,Ehud led the Israelites in battle against the Moabites to victory and regained their freedom.

This episode about Ehud provides us inspiration to pray to God whenever we face struggles and challenging situations in life.He definitely responds and provides us guidance. Also, living a life of sin does not foster a good relationship with God that we end up experiencing bad things and consequences just like the Israelites did who ended up being conquered by their enemies.
