Showtime has cast Matt Passmore in a guest role on “Roadies;” Harry Potter alum Tom Felton joins Season 3 of “The Flash” as a series regular and more in today’s TV news roundup. 


Matt Passmore (“The Glades,” “Satisfaction”) will be joining the cast of “Roadies” as a guest-star later this season, Variety has learned exclusively. Passmore will be playing Sean, Taylor Swift’s tour manager and husband to Staton-House manager Shelli, played by Carla Gugino. Passmore will be joining “Roadies” for one episode. The Cameron Crowe drama airs Sundays at 10 p.m on Showtime.

The CW has added Harry Potter alum Tom Felton to Season 3 of “The Flash,” Variety has confirmed. Felton will be starring as Julian Dorn, a CSI at Central City Police Department who suspects there’s more to Barry Allen than his good-guy reputation. “The Flash” Season 3 will premiere October 4 at 8 p.m. on The CW. Houdini and Doyle

Fox has announced a May 2nd premiere date for their new series "Houdini and Doyle" from "House" creator David Shore. The first trailer for the series is now out and can be seen below.

The mystery adventure drama stars Michael Weston, Stephen Mangan and Rebecca Liddiard and follows illusionist Harry Houdini (Weston) and author Arthur Conan Doyle (Mangan) who begrudgingly join forces with New Scotland Yard to investigate unsolved, inexplicable and possibly supernatural crimes. Fox has confirmed that its long-running procedural "Bones" will return for a twelve-episode twelfth and final season. The series, currently in the midst of its twenty-two episode eleventh season, will score a proper send off and the producers now have plenty of time to wrap up their ongoing stories and character arcs.

Michelle Hurd has been cast in a regular role for the second season of the Ash Vs Evil Dead TV series, on Starz. As pictured above, Hurd played Colleen Manus on The Glades TV series, which was cancelled by A&E in 2013, after four seasons.

Deadline says Hurd will play Ash Williams' (Bruce Campbell) high school sweetheart. The cast of Ash Vs Evil Dead also includes Lucy Lawless, Ray Santiago, and Dana DeLorenzo. A couple of weeks back, Starz announced Lee Majors and Ted Raimi were joining the series in season two.

Ash Vs Evil Dead Season 2 Adds Michelle Hurd

It looks like Ash will be facing his past in the upcoming second season of Ash vs Evil Dead on Starz. Lee Majors and Ted Raimi were recently cast as Ash’s father and childhood best friend, respectively, and now Michelle Hurd has joined the cast as a series regular in a role with a strong link to the Deadite slayer.

According to Deadline, Hurd will play Ash’s “high school sweetheart” in the second season of Ash vs Evil Dead. No other details about Hurd’s character—including her name—are known at this time, but her status as series regular means that she’ll likely play a key role in the sophomore season.
