Storyline

While the world is enraptured by the glamorous vampire in pop culture, Spout offers a more human look at loss, grief, vampires, and a spout. Outlandishly beautiful and extraordinarily unique, Spout enters the comedic and absurd world of a grandmother and grandson whose love drives them to live in a bloody world that bridges the living and the dead. The story is by Laurence A. Rickels, aka "the Vampire Professor," who merges his expertise in vampires with his own childhood experiences. Written by Alex Munoz

Jossara Jinaro is wonderful in this!
14 October 2010 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I've seen Jossara in many plays, movies, and on television. I have to say she is truly an amazing leading lady who does great character work! Her Tennessee Williams like portrayal in SPOUT is worth the watch! The director Alex Munoz really takes you back to the days of horror films like Susperia. It has that European feel to it! Rena Owen is delicious as the evil grandmother you just have to fall in love with! The story in SPOUT is what leads you to the laughter and the fear that every horror film should have! I sat in at one of the festivals and the audience loved it! People could not stop talking about just how fun the fear of of it all was. It makes you want to become a vampire yourself! SUcking the blood out of life!
