It was not a bad movie

Ennalum Ente Aliya was 'not' a bad movie at all! We had a good share of laughter and giggles; the problem just came from the storytelling being quite stagnant.

DELICIOUS

-Lena stood out from the crowd😃 She was the typical mother filled with insecurities about her only daughter, constantly thinking about who she was talking to, who she was going to marry, where she should go and at what time😆

-The film nicely illustrated three types of couples we see nowadays: the old & conservative, the contemporary & busy, and the young & liberal.

It showed how they can live harmoniously and be fulfilled by not focusing on what others think.

-Bash Mohammed, the director, gave us a comprehensive knowledge of each character.

We were warmly welcomed into each family's house. We knew who was who

BLAND

-A major part of the film takes place in Balu's apartment with Sulu & her husband confronting Balu and his wife over allegations.

Literally, the argument just went back and forth, back and forth, back and forth with the plot not progressing at all.

If not for the comic lines and Sulu's funny mannerisms, it would have been very tempting to stop watching

-Such a disappointment that it was only around 99 minutes into the movie that the story started rolling and bringing new developments😔

Average Movie......!!!

The story of the movie is normal....but when it comes to the situational comedy of Siddhique he is very good in presenting it.

Suraj is still in his serious roles. Comedy does not work out like his previous movies before.

Felt the movie is little short and does not cover much outdoor scenes of dubai or the life in dubai. It basically shoot in indoor location.

Only some of the comedy done by siddhique keeps the movie a little bit time passing. I did not feel the movie has any good story line. Its a one time watchable movie.

Lena acting felt overacting sometimes.

Overall its a one time watchable movie.

"ennalum ente aliya" just feels like lazy writing, ineffective story and a below average product.

The only positives i felt about this movie is the performance by all the actors, Suraj, Siddique, Gayatri, and Lena did their roles nicely and some of the jokes work especially by Siddique. Apart from that the movie is just unengaging.

The writing just felt as if they were struggling to fill the paper and the scenes. Many scenes just felt boring and unnecessary. I felt the makers were confused as to what they wanted to tell through this movie, was it struggles in a marriage life or work pressure in modern society or the communication gap between children's and parents or the chaos created by the brother in law character because none of this points were effectively done, the characters were barely emotionally connecting.

Apart from the performances by the actors and a few good jokes "ennalum ente aliya" was pretty disappointing.

Light movie with situational laughter

Positive, one of the best performances of Lena and Siddique. Their chemistry is what keeps the movie in place and worth watching for. I wouldnt say it is a great movie with fantastic direction and screenplay, there are quite unwanted scenes and lag at times. But it was quite relaxing to watch this amidst of current dark themed movies running. It is definitely a OTT movie, you will enjoy watching with family. If the crew had given a bit focus on soundplay would have beem great. Could not hear some dialogues amidst songs at the end. Special kudos to Lena for a magnificent performance. From enn ninte moideen to this she delivered two north Kerala muslim characters but are every different in personality, that is quite something!

A bad story and a boring movie

Such a boring and pathetic movie. I didn't understand how come Suraj and Siddhique and Lena signed this movie.. I am like seriously🤔🤔🤔🤔 In the time when good movies and stories Re coming in malayalam cinema this one is in the list to be avoided Very bad direction , sound quality was poor and bad screenplay Feel sad to see such quality actors who gave excellent movies and performances have been wasted in this movie.

I don't recommend this movie . DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

I watched it o Amazon Prime and thank God I skopped it on theatres

A movie u can skip unless you want to watch if you really have no other work.

This is one such worst and boring film I watched very recently. There is nothing in this movie other than some stupid story lines. This is such a disgusting one. Characters are really funny! Movie started with a family with serious background collapsing with another stupid family trying to bring together to produce even more boring and stupid outcome.

This is my first written review for a movie which I could not resist myself from writing as I really wish no one should see it to waste your time.

Wish if there was Zero and minus rating values as well so movies likes this will surely hit at least 0 for sure.

I wish the actor Gayathri would bring a pleasant face in this movie at least, here also she has a VAIKLABHYAM face, very irritating to see.

Mess of a Movie

Ennalum Ente Aliya was an absolute disappointment. The writing and direction was incredibly inconsistent and the some of the characters like Sulu were absolute caricatures without any whim of reason.

The comedy in this movie worked out very rarely, barely a handful of chuckles. The story lacked any real substance or message and it felt as though the writer had created a big cesspool of comedic events and tried to shoehorn in as many cultural references and some social messaging but his attempt fared poorly.

The only acceptable thing in the movie was the acting by Suraj and Gayathri every other character was a hyperbole of a person that made my viewing of this movie incredibly hard.

3/10 would never rewatch.

Fun filled. Worth your time.

Ennalum Ente Aliya is yet another fun filled comedy film from Malayalam. It has solid performances from the awesome Lena and Siddique. They have a great cast around them, and it feels like everyone enjoyed themselves with it showing through in their performances. This is a nicely done film that took a simple concept and did a lot with it. Simple movie with simple events in limited locations. The characters are interesting and funny, and how the story connecting all them together is good.

I'm watching it again to enjoy the performances of Lena and Siddique. Somebody should make a good comedy with them. Give them more comedy roles. Lovely performances.

Low rating is unfair

Such a low rating for this movie on iMdb is unfair. It's most likely a result of deliberate down-rating of the film due to the liberal values it seeks to espouse. The film is actually quite well-done, with stellar performances from Lena, Siddique, and Suraj. The script is taut and without a misplaced scene. Comedy is very well-done, a refreshing break from the toilet jokes that pass for much of comedy these days. Overall, the film is fun-watch and welcome addition to the good films Malayalam film industry is routinely and thankfully churning out these days by the young crop of filmmakers and artists, and without depending on the superstars and huge budgets.

Superb comedy movie , good screenplay, kudos to Lena n Siddique

A good comedy movie. I have been waiting for long for such lighter movies. Lena has done a really good job n Siddique as well, their chemistry was simply perfect. A good funny movie. After jaya jaya jaya he this is the one movie which i enjoyed a lot watching with my family. Kudos to the entire team.. Keep making such movies , bcoz I generally prefer entertaining movies n not the kind of horror, dark theme movies . Siddiques perfomance reminded me his old comedy movies . Lena has done really a wonderful job actually her character is the one keeps the movie going. Only negative is the last dialogue part was not audible .

A good couple of hours of laugh

The movie started off a bit slow and arid. It picked up the pace after half an hour or so. The.plot of movie may probably be repetitive, therefore a bit monotonous. However, the screenplay and the quirky comedies and the situational hilarity rendered it to be a good entertainment. It does indeed clock above average in terms of entertainment quotient unlike most Malayalam movies which are quite very deeply serious affairs.

Siddiq's transformation after a couple of drinks was phenomenally entertaining. I'm sure it's a brilliant budget-managed direction as most of it shot indoors. Perhaps, it's shot during covid.

A fun movie with great performances. Worth the time

When such a fun movie with so much laughs and ironic moments is not getting the attention it deserves, it needs to be propelled by word of mouth.

The laughs are great, unexpected and really funny. The parts inbetween are a let down, but the performances of Siddiqui, Lena and Suraj is top notch. Even the other actors have done their part well. The songs are a bore and so are the scenes where it is trying to be preachy. But it is definitely worth a one time watch.

Movies like these are meant for the OTT platform and hope the makers got their due. Now this is not a great film in a y aspect. But if you want to have a fun filled couple of hours, it's worth jt.

A superb Malayalam comedy entertainer. I really enjoyed with my family, and it made our mood cheerful (I watched twice - honestly😊). A cool and simple story. Hats off to the people behind this movie, especially director (and writer) Mr. Bash & writer Mr. Sreekumaran.

With no expectation I started watching this movie. Initially, slight lagging was feeling here and there (but certainly you will not feel bored!). Characters of Siddique & Lena were rocking throughout!

Along with fun, it also throws light on the anxiety of parents in modern era.

I spotted a small technical glitch - the last dialogues are not audible due to the background music at the scene where Suraj, Lena & Gayathri are present.

However overall, it's an awesome comedy movie!

He is one of the best actors.... i ve ever seen... first i thought he was a a comedian. As we all would do... but after watching "action Hero Biju"... i don't think there is anymore comparison with any actors..... appreciate talent.... I love u UNCLE.... ni hope u read this......i am hearing that u have a more serious role..... i follow all your movies.... don't tell ANU... as most ppl doesnt know... He ia the most humble AND an ordinary citizen.. you can ask anyone in venjaramoodu..... he is my my hero. And he will be pursing his stardom... as once my other uncle said. Sudhir kumar...... MaMA i love u.

Lot of LOL moments

The story and acting is not that much great and this is not classic one. But it has its own tickling funny bone and really worked out throughout the movie.... Keep your expectations for low brow comedy and you will enjoy this one for sure.

The scene sequences are very simple, very few characters till climax and most of the scene in small apartment flat... with all these limitation they really make one simple fun family drama with all possible emotions....

I laughed out in lot of scenes and the climax moment is opt ending for this movie.

Light hearted fun filled family drama, give one chance, you will not regret.

fun filled and simple movie

Loved the movie and Siddique did an outstanding performance as always. Situational comedies in the movie are the best that have been seen in recent movies. But it was quite relaxing to watch this amidst of current dark themed movies running. The movie is intended for malayalees only so that other natives would not find the movie a good one. The movie is focused on comedy and entertainment rather than a serious or realistic movie.

The canvas of the movie is very much relatable for GCC mallu expatriates. The performance of Lena found little overperformance, but still it matches the genre of the movie. Suraj and his opposite heroin also did well in the movie.

I think more comedy movies should come in future focusing on Siddique and he is a really unmatchable performer.

Could not hear some dialogue amidst songs at the end. All the best to the crew behind it.
