The movie started well, creating curiosity and it did engage for an hour. But the screenplay could have been better. There were many long scenes which could have been edited to cut short the running time. The acting of boyfriend characters were not up to the mark. The policemen acting was good. There were lot of miss. In the attempt to create twist, there were scenes added to make it misleading without much logic. Overall a decent movie but it could have been lot better. Definitely the director has a good potential to make a another good one which is more crisp and engaging!!

Refers to a book and it's evident that she was a writer in the story and something was related to the book.
There is a suspense and long investigation scenes which leads till the end to maintain the suspect...
The idealogy tried to impose by the story was but rubbish and somehow the scenes were close to reality.
The revenge concept remains foolish as 2 characters were involved Prashant and Mithun. Where Prashant did not harm that big to get revenged but Mithun was very lightly revenged - even being the most cruel on the script....
I am confused if the director is out of mind many times...

This movie convey the msg may good or bad. That can differ from each point of view..but i feel something fresh in this movie i love this movie.. But in techinical point of view lot of lacks but Its ok maybe budget problem all over well try climax feel good.

The movie starts off great and it keeps you hooked on for almost 3/4th of the movie.
When the pieces of the puzzle unravel that is when the disappointment starts. The plot becomes too confusing and everything happens in a swift and we are left clueless as to what's going on .
The ending 30 minutes could have been presented better. At the end , audience are bombarded with lots of revealing and those don't make sense and doesn't sound right as well.
I was left with so many questions as to why certain characters were required . Major breakthroughs in the movie happen all of a sudden out of thin air.
Overall :- A movie with a good start that could have had a good ending.

The concept of this movie is quite different than any other Murder-Mystery-Investigation Movie. It has something unique to offer which will reveal at the very end and I can definitely bet that You can't predict it's climax because it's nearly impossible to catch the main culprit of this entire movie till the very end. It's the ideology which is the main culprit actually not the person.
Anyway it's a low budget gem for sure not designed for every layman movie watcher. It's absolutely designed for cinephile people who just love to watch unique concepts and content is their first priority rather than Actors or Actress who adds spices to it. From the acting POV every individual plays their parts really well. The background score was decent and the screenplay was pretty tight and gripping for sure. It's just a 90min show, so that's a good thing about mystery thriller kind of genre and this movie justified it nicely.
Overall a good content for sure and especially designed for some specific categories of audiences. The concept of the movie is little bit bold so I don't think it's properly suitable for a family audiences. But if you love to watch unique concepts then definitely try it for once & finally its 7 out of 10 Stars from my side.

Must watch movie i would say, one of the movie i've watched without skipping recently, thriller plot is existing and well directed, among the rubbish mega budget films, this has really caught my eye and stood up. Well done team.

Initially I was a bit hesitant to watch this movie as the poster had vibes of "No Man's Land," a Malayalam movie which is a stinker that tops all other poorly made movies I have seen recently. There was plenty of couch time as i'm travelling, the person i have tagged along played this movie after checking out the reviews online. Well all doors shut and is one the worst movie-watching experience.
Irudhi Pakkam (The Last Page) seems to be one tediously directed film, with overly exaggerated dialogues, fake accent and bad performances. The artist don't fit the characters, way too many scenes lack the proper build-up, feeling like they belonged in two different movie. The writing is poor for the character of Iyal, who is edgy thinks she is cool as she sees herself as the odd one out with zero emphasize on the taste of her music, movies, authors or aesthetic sense with terrible taste for her attire. Her love for erotic novels brings her trouble and the film has nothing more than her murder as the mediocre element to push the story. The relationship between her, the suspects and other character are boring that leads to a dull final act which is self indulgence for all the stupid reason. It could've been like an interesting take on on the women's life with police procedural with a pinch of Lars von Trier, Catherine Breillat or Dante's hell descent approach to build her character. I really wished the film could have been on the face like the French extremity films or something like a Nordic noir with terrific writing but ends up as a wasted potential.
Something that worked a bit is the police character which had better writing compared to the rest of the cast that deserves no mention. I remember watching this guy in Arun Karthick's The Strange Case of Shiva (2015). In this amateur movie, only his lines are better and doesn't sink into melodrama considering the past, the outcome of his present and how he landed in the police job. Sometimes it is diaphanous but most of the time he manages to do better with more internalized in performance.
The selling point of the film is the book which is of little interest and becomes predictable. Like many police murder mystery these days, there is a forced genre troupe as the movie introduces a depraved character who is a Satyromaniac. LOL, it is One of the funniest moments in the film, forced in the narrative for the sake of shock value. Even the background score sounds like it was made for some low budget short film rather than a murder mystery movie. This gets 2 out of 10, one for the film and for the police character.

This is a good thriller movie. Its written well and is quite predictable. The mystery unviels in a bread crumb pattern. One leads to the other and the chain goes on until it ends up in a bang. The reveal works brilliantly if you are in the suspension of disbelief mode. But at the same time it makes you wonder that it is too farfetched. There is still room for improvement and the protagonist has a one dimensional motive and expression. The script lacks drama and is purely a whodunit mystery unfolding at a quick pace.
The conflict of ideology part and victimization part is ridiculous and too melodramatic. Had it been purely "find the killer" type of movie this could have worked.

As a cinephile I watch atleast one movie per a day,recently my friend suggested this movie to me. I found this movie in YouTube and I started watching it,the movie was simply brilliant,don't judge this movie by watching the rating and other reviews,the movie was fantastic. The reason for that is the story was so brilliant there are so many twists and turns in this movie and they executed it very nicely. Due to its budget the movie made with small actors and in some scenes it may look like a High budget shortfilm, but with the resources they have they made this film so good and the movie won't disappoint you,it's a new attempt. Encourage this type of films and it's filmmakers to make more good films.

Movie has lot of twists but the end message was pathetic. She committed suicide because the society doesn't accept her hoeing around having sex with strangers? This is a really a sick message to the youngsters. Better move to western countries so that no one will judge you.
Wasted my time looking at random roadside strangers from my television.

Half baked cr@p with pathetic casting and performances. Surprised to see actors unfit to be even in the background taking up key characters in the movie. Clearly shows that the director roped in his friends and relatives who are visually unimpressive and totally zero in acting. Only positive is Amritha and her acting.
