I had seen The Royal Variety Performance two times before, and I knew this third one I had seen had some good acts in the line-up, all performing this time in front of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Hosted by comedian Peter Kay, performances and appearances in the show came from: the cast of Here Come The Girls with singing divas Anastacia, Lulu and Chaka Khan, actress Whoopi Goldberg and the cast of Sister Act: The Musical, singer Alexandra Burke performing "Broken Heels", singer Michael Bublé performing "Cry Me a River" and "Hold On", comedian Hal Cruttenden, singer/actress Miley Cyrus performing "Party in the USA", Britain's Got Talent winners - street dance act Diversity, comedian Adam Hills, singer Lady Gaga performing "Speechless", singer Katherine Jenkins performing "Bring Me to Life", comedian Patrick McGuinness, comedian Jason Manford, singer Mika, singer Bette Midler performing "In My Life" (accompanied by Jake Shimabukuro on ukulele) and "Wind Beneath My Wings", composer Andre Rieu with the Johann Strauss Orchestra, Britain's Got Talent singer Faryl Smith performing The National Anthem and comedian ventriloquist Paul Zerdin. Very good!
