Did You Know?

The term "Manhattanhenge" was coined in 2002 by American Museum of Natural History astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. The dates of these aligned sunrises and sunsets do not match the actual solstices and equinoctes because Manhattan's street grid are skewed 29 degrees from the compass directions. See more »

The sun charts and the photo from two years earlier both show sunrise as 6.05 am, yet in New York on 5 December, sunrise is more like 7.05 am. See more »

The Chase Is On
26 May 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

The chase is on for "Hollis Eckhart," the identified "Compass Killer." He is hiding somewhere down in the sewers beneath the 1964 World's Fair memorial. Skeet Ulrich has been playing "Eckhart" and is riveting to watch, especially with the unique scars on the side of his face.

It looks like Mac and Flack have Eckart dead-to-rights but he's not at his discovered underground home .....but he has to be close, so we get a number of very tense scenes with the CSI guys slowly going through the dark tunnels.

Later, there are more chase scenes and a surprising revelation on the who the Compass Killer's fourth victim was going to be.

In the end, as crazy as it sounds, one almost felt sorry for the killer, which is ludicrous considering he killed three innocent people.....but you'll know what I mean when you watch the episodes.

At the end, it was nice to see the complete CSI team celebrating the end of the case at a restaurant where all of the were smiling and no one seemed to have a problem. You know that won't last long.
