Thailand's best work
adioticmohana4 November 2023
If you were thinking of Thailand to finally work on a Bl which has great storyline, amazing acting, top notch production and the best music score. Then this show is for you. No other Bl can ever beat IFYLITA. Never. It's monstrously beautiful. It's not a typical Bl so don't expect it to be like that. At the end if you like Sci fi you'll enjoy it more as this has time travel in It's storyline. All the characters get their proper time to develop. Each and every details of storyline and acting is so good that at one point I was in doubt if I was actually watching a Thai series or not. I thought they're going to definitely mess it up at the end like they did before whenever they wanted to make different Bls but to my surprise they didn't, rather the end is more beautiful in this show. IT'S A MUST WATCH.

I Feel Your Linger in the Air" is a mesmerizing Thailand Boylove series that weaves a tapestry of love, mystery, and time travel. In the heart of this enchanting narrative, we meet Jom, a talented architect tasked with restoring a historic house along the picturesque Ping River. Little does he know, this project will unearth secrets that will change his life forever.

As Jom stumbles upon an old wooden chest brimming with peculiar drawings, a sense of déjà vu washes over him. The connection between these drawings and his own life becomes a captivating puzzle that keeps us, the audience, on the edge of our seats. But Jom's real journey doesn't begin until he leaves Chiang Mai and heads back to Bangkok to reunite with his long-distance love, his heart filled with dreams of a joyous reunion.

However, fate has a different plan for Jom, and the heart-wrenching discovery of his beloved in another's arms leaves him shattered and adrift. It's in this moment of despair that the series takes a mystical turn, as Jom, in a surreal twist of fate, meets the river and a voice that transcends time.

The aroma of frangipani flowers, the gentle voice, and the enchanting river transport Jom to 1920s Chiang Mai. This is where the magic truly unfolds, as he embarks on a journey through time to find love, solace, and the answers he so desperately seeks. The delicate portrayal of romance and the exploration of love that defies time and space will tug at your heartstrings and keep you yearning for more.

"I Feel Your Linger in the Air" is a series that not only dives into the complexities of love and longing but also takes us on an unforgettable adventure through the sands of time. It's a story that will have you spellbound, with its exquisite blend of history, mystery, and the enduring power of love. Don't miss this incredible journey that transcends both time and boundaries - it's a series that will make your heart ache, your imagination soar, and your curiosity run wild.

"When two souls are as one, they stay together on the Wheel."
taintedsorrow4 November 2023
This has been such a journey, with so many ups and downs, but I made it through this glorious romance, aflame with passion and longing. I got to experience something beautiful to behold:

The love story of Jom and Khun Yai, and the way they see the world. The thoughts they share, the pieces of wisdom within their phrases, and the severity of the decisions they had to make. Their bond is so deep, I can barely put it into words.

I knew it would be heart-wrenching, yet full of warmth, because I read the novel. Every emotion portrayed throughout the drama was so raw and layered that I didn't know where the story would take me in its final moments.

Gripping and filmed at a pace that controlled and intensified the feeling of unease, it was also one of the most romantic queer dramas I've ever watched. I almost forgot the outside world existed when I was watching it. I've never been so emotionally invested in a story as I was with this one. Furthermore, I'm sad now that it's over, but I loved every minute!

The cinematography and scenery are breathtaking. Needless to say, there is something quite alluring about Chiang Mai and its ancient beauty. An unforgettable choice of melodies underscored the poignancy of each moment.

Flawless!

Not only the bl of the year but the best bl of all time
blyaoifudanshi8 November 2023
It's a charming work, absolutely brilliant, a project with purpose, I don't think I've ever seen a Thai project with LGBT characters so well produced and so well done, this is another level. This type of masterpiece will be remembered for a long time, I don't think I've ever been so moved by something as I was by this project. This project touched my feelings and filled my heart, I can already see many awards that they can win with the project. This story has a lot of potential, especially if we were to think about a second season, I really believe that it could happen, the chemistry between the main characters is so good that you connect with them, you feel part of the story, that's the best thing I saw this year, and it became the best bl I've ever seen in my life.

A differenmt view on olive oil
niso-8203516 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I am always skeptical when it comes to series based on time travel. I don't mind that they are illogical, because time travel isn't something that can be explained logically. But most time travel stories aren't even consistent within their storytelling, and IFYLITA fortunately doesn't make this mistake.

When Jom (Nonkul Chanon) is working on the restoration of an old mansion, he suddenly finds himself in the same house in 1927. He meets Yai (Bright Raphephong), the gay son of the influential Plathip family. They fall in love, but of course in a rich 1927 setting, two gay men being together is even more of a problem than it is in today's Thailand. There are malicious relatives, there is corruption, domestic violence, arson, and murder, but Jom and Khun Yai's love conquers everything. There are extremely sad moments when Jom starts to fade, but there is some hope that the lovers may be reunited in another time and space.

The cinematography of this series is brilliant, the settings are beautiful, directing and editing are great, and Nonkul's acting is out of this world. Two of the support actors also deserve to be mentioned - Guide Kantapon as lovely Ming and Mr. International 2023, Kim Goodburn as James.

I was very surprised that there are NC scenes in this series which are among the most erotic ones I've ever seen in a BL series, and I'm sure that everyone who has watched this series will have a different view on olive oil.

Romantic, peaceful, deep storyline
bosslanuphu29 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This film can deeply touch people's emotions. Set against the backdrop of the 1900s, with a theme of traversing through time and space, Por Jom falls in love with Kun Yai. Their love is tender, slow, and profound. Despite facing numerous difficulties, they never drama themselves. Great, that's what I want.

The movie is meticulously crafted. I adore all the scenes, music, effects, and the cast. For me, the two best scenes are when Kun Yai, intoxicated, reads a poem to confess his love to Por Jom, and the final scene when Por Jom, after having read a letter, hears Kun Yai's voice and reunites with him. Even now, I feel overwhelmed with love and happiness after experiencing the entire movie. I even didn't skip any scenes.

In short, I must say this is one of the best movies I've ever seen - not just in the boylove drama genre.

The best Thai queer series
forever_lspswt7 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
FYLITA is a very good queer fantasy series. It talks about the inequality of women in the past. Oppression of house slaves and LGBTQ+ love

This series gives importance to every character in the story. Without forgetting any character Every character has a role to play in the story. And the story is reasonable as it should be.

The series was produced by a small media production company. The budget isn't big. But I really like that everyone is doing it so intentionally. There is very detailed filming, with beautiful images, lights and sound, very fitting to the story.

I want everyone to experience quality queer series for themselves.

The best drama I've ever watched
TammyTamber1 May 2024
I truly would do anything to watch IFYLITA again for the first time. It made me feel so many emotions with the sentimental journey it yakes the viewer to, with the music, location and atmosphere, I felt such a deep connection with the characters and the story.

Thanks to the spectacular acting skills from both Bright and Nonkul who were able to capture and portray their characters from the novel so beautifully, with their uncanny resemble to the novel, they were able to make NC scenes so perfect as well being placed just right, moving the plot forward and their chemistry is beyond what I have seen before, it feels so real and genuine, the passion and desire was so well done.

Not only that but I truly loved every single aspect of it; the cinematography, acting, chemistry, setting and plot. It's one I would recommend to anyone and everyone, you can just tell how much hard work there was for it and the passion everyone in the cast gave to make us receive such a good polished and beautiful story. And overall having read the novel I can just assure you this is a perfect adaptation that even upgrades various things making it even better.

Even if I can't assure you will feel the same love I do for it, I can tell you, objectively this is one of the best BLs in terms of production and quality, it may be confusing or slow at first but keep an open mind because everything gets explained so well, so I hope you do give it a try and help spread love to this underrated gem, as I've seen many interviews with the director and how much he wanted to do this project so please give it much love since it deserves it, and then with hope we will be able to get a second season.

In conclusion, If you are interested in period drama with angst and a slower pacing this is the 100% show for you, but if you are looking for fast and plotless show this might not be what you are looking for.
