Kenny Chesney: Summer In 3D hits theaters in the Us tonight, April 21, and $1 from the first 50,000 will go to the National Parks Conservation Association. The money will be used to help fund restoration projects at a number of parks, including the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone.
“Any time you can give back or help protect our nation’s parks, that’s a good thing,” he told Us Magazine. “Growing up near the Smokey Mountains — or spending as much time in the U.S. Virgin Islands as I do — you realize what a resource it is for all of us. No matter who you are, what you do, that beauty is all of ours to enjoy — to go camping, hiking, to sail in — and that undeveloped land is a gift.
