The film is set in the post civil war south. You would never expect to see science fiction or for that matter, scientists in such a setting. Star Wars fans, and Trekkies, as well as well as history buffs, will find something to enjoy in this film. The mix fits well, however, and is most entertaining. It is a funny film with a good plot and some interesting twists. No need to worry about a hidden agenda or deeper meaning, this film is just good fun. The production value is also quite exemplary. One rarely sees a short film with such special effects and expensive props like horses and a stagecoach. The acting may be a little over the top sometimes, but it could be said to add to the 'campy" feel that has been absent in the film industry of late. What do the letters in the title mean? You will need to listen closely to comprehend and retain that from the dialog. It is quite clever.
