The tragic death of the most popular horror writer in Poland warms up the public opinion. His accident raises as much controversy as before the lifestyle and harsh language of the author's novel. In the atmosphere of scandal, the writer's family appears in a quarrel in Krakow. Above the coffin, in an extraordinary funeral home, a liberated anthropologist and a traveler meet, and Tomasz's ex-wife; a sister who served the writer as the prototype of the cruel witch, cult figure in Polish literature; a son who wants to stand out in his father's fame and an enterprising daughter who runs a morally questionable business. Seeing the unflagging interest in the deceased, two political forces begin to take an interest in his ashes. The thought of organizing a funeral of the century springs in the minds of their representatives, which will help them gain recognition in the eyes of a divided society. Especially since the elections are approaching.
