Dean Cain Talks Christmas And New Hallmark Channel Movie "The Three Gifts"

16 December 2009 5:24 AM, PST | icelebz.com | See recent iCelebz news »

Talking with actor Dean Cain, the forty-three-year-old star of shows like "Lois & Clark," "Ripley's Believe It or Not," and countless other movies revealed that he really is Superman. "The last seven weeks, I've shot four films and a documentary. I'm literally flying from set to set to set. Then heading back home to see my son and coach his football game and then back out to work," he said.

He may have lost the tights but Cain has all the qualities of at least a Superdad, and he plays one on TV as well like in his new movie "The Three Gifts" airing Saturday, December 19th on the Hallmark Channel. In "The Three Gifts," Cain plays Jack Green, a guy wary of fatherhood who temporarily takes in three trouble-making orphan boys. It's a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie, so we already know the ending is sure to be satisfyingly sweet.

The 2nd Annual Yulies: An absurd celebration of the holiday TV-movie genre

29 November 2009 8:46 AM, PST | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

Holy holly! Did you guys just see that? Santa whizzing by on a sleigh packed with Barbies and basketballs? A man and a woman falling into a snowbank and sharing an unexpected kiss? Formerly estranged family members getting all huggy-feely and crooning “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” as the credits roll? Oh, wait—I think I know what’s happening. I’m having another post-traumatic hallucination, a result of a recent work assignment. For the fourth year in a row, I, loyal Entertainment Weekly servant, have taken on the ridiculous challenge of watching all of the networks’ original holiday TV-movies. »
