Interesting but tests the limits of plausibility
21 November 2009 | by (Camilla, GA) – See all my reviews

SVU is known for its complicated and surprising plots and "Perverted" is no different from the norm. Olivia (Mariska Hargitay) appears to the prime suspect in the murder of a bike gang member. Her fellow detectives work endlessly to prove her innocence, even when the evidence against her increases.

It isn't until the final few quarter of the drama that the true killer, as well as the one behind the frame of Benson, is revealed.

The questionable plot element is the means by which the killer was able to make Olivia appear guilty: the use of DNA obtained through fraudulent measures.

Inasmuch as all the shows in the "Law & Order" franchise are based on real-life "possibilities", the premise raises questions about current techniques used in police investigations and judicial actions.

To tell more than that about the installment would be unfair to the viewer; thus, this is one that definitely must be seen by all.
