• Bella : [as Rikki tries to sense what's going on at Moon Pool]  Well?

  Rikki : Give me a minute.

  [sighs] 

  Rikki : I can definitely feel something. It's like... a lot of energy. Like this place is coming alive.

  Cleo : Like the full moon?

  Rikki : No, it's different to that. Something's awakening in here.

  [nods] 

• Will : So, why do you think it's changed?

  Bella : Exactly what we're gonna go figure out.

  Will : How?

  Cleo : I'm gonna go back.

  Will : Right now?

  Cleo : Yeah, now.

  Rikki : But we just got back.

  Cleo : I thought it was your favorite place in the whole entire world?

  [folds her arms] 

  Rikki : It is. Apart from my nice warm comfy bed...

• Bella : A comet?

  Cleo : Yes. That's why the fish were fleeing. It's coming our way.

  Rikki : How does the fish know that a comet's heading to Earth?

  Cleo : Animals have a sensitivity to change that humans don't.

  [shakes her head] 

  Cleo : Mako Island could be... sending them a message.

  Bella : And us. I mean, we're kind of part fish and we've been feeling it too.

  Cleo : I looked up the trajectory of the comet on the Internet. It said that it entered our solar system on... February the seventh. That's the same day as the first water attack.

  Bella : [as RIkki takes that in]  No way!

  Cleo : It passes Earth tomorrow at its closest point during the next full moon. We'll see it in our skies coming from the south.

  Bella : [realizes]  Like the compass.

  Cleo : The Moon Pool is heating up. Probably because it's... preparing itself for something.

  Bella : [long uneasy silence]  What exactly?

  Rikki : [shakes her head]  It has to do with the vision the water tentacle showed us.

  Bella : Where it's coming for Mako.

  Cleo : We only saw it heading for Mako.

  Rikki : No, I still don't think we saw the whole thing.

• Cleo : We already know that the Moon Pool is changing. It's heating up! It's coming alive.

  Will : For... for what?

  Cleo : Mako Island was formed after a... a collision with a comet, right? The crystals and the rocks in the Moon Pool prove that. I'll bet that the comet's made up of the same stuff. That's why they're attached to each other.

  Will : So... Mako is... drawing it in like a giant...

  [shakes his head] 

  Will : magnet?

  Cleo : Yes.

  Will : You try telling that to the authorities.

  Rikki : Regardless, it's coming home to mama, and I don't care how it happens, I don't wanna be here when it hits.

  Bella : So how long have we got?

  Cleo : Uh, the comet passes at its closest tomorrow.

  Bella : So why would it send us a warning if we weren't meant to do something about it?

  [nods] 

  Rikki : [shakes her head]  All of this has to be for a reason.

  Bella : Everything that's happened to us.

  Cleo : So what do we do?

  Bella : All I know is that the Moon Pool holds the answer.
