In this episode, Zooey Deschanel guest-stars as Temperance Brennan's cousin. Through out the episode, the cast often makes jokes about the resemblance of Zooey and Emily Deschanel's characters, even saying they could be sisters, when in reality they are. See more »
Daisy mentions several times that it is inappropriate to hold Christmas in December, because Jesus has been born in March, as if it was a historical fact. There is not a single piece of either religious or historical evidence pointing to the actual month or day of Christ's birth. See more »
I love this episode. It makes me laugh because of Zooey Deschanel being in it, but it also makes me sad because of the fact that Santa Claus blew up into a million pieces.
In this episode, we see a man dressed up in a Santa Claus suit, rob a bank and then explode. Turns out that he was being blackmailed into robbing the bank, but the mean blackmailer blew him up anyway. Also, the main reason I love this episode, Zooey Deschanel joins her sister Emily in this fun episode. Zooey plays Bones' distant relative, and throughout the entire episode, people compare them to being sisters. A fun little Easter Egg hiding throughout. Not really an Easter Egg, but that's what I'm calling it.
Overall, I give this episode a 10 out of 10.
