Storyline

CBS adds to its daytime game-show lineup with an updated version of the classic TV show of the 1960s, filmed in Los Angeles. Hosted by comic/singer/actor Wayne Brady, contestants -- often dressed in a wide variety of original costumes -- will still compete for money and prizes by striking wacky deals. Jonathan Mangum is the show's announcer, and Monty Hall, arguably the best-known host of the earlier version of the show, is listed among the new show's creative consultants. The program won 2 Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards for Outstanding Original Song: 30,000 Reasons to Love Me, and Outstanding Directing in a Game Show. Written by Jwelch5742

Andy Gumps!!
19 August 2016 | by See all my reviews

We were taken to an outdoor holding area to wait to go into the studio for the show and taping, we waited for an hour or so, it was a hot summer day 98 degrees, and we were told we would not be allowed to use the bathrooms once we got into the studio, BUT Andy Gumps, Give me a break, how disrespectful to people that come from all over to HELP Lets Make A Deal a good show. I felt used. We had really looked forward to seeing and hoping to experience Wayne Brady in person, as he seems so nice and personable, his only goal was to do the show and get to over with. There did not seem to be any gratitude for the audience that really makes the whole show possible, people that come from so many places, drive in lots of traffic, eat very little, and do expect a cup of coffee, soft drink etc. Our pictures were taken, and I thought we would be offered a small one a a reminder of going to the show, but NO a $20.00 charge was asked for the photos (not a 2" X 2") for a Thanks for coming and getting there. The folks that we were waiting with were of course so nice, excited, the best.
