Production has now started on the comedy feature "Think Like A Man", directed by Tim Story ("Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer"), adapting the New York Times best-seller, "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man", by author/radio host Steve Harvey:

Rui Costa Reis and Eliad Josephson of Rcr Media Group, a private equity film financing company in Beverly Hills, has extended its deal with Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions (Spwa) to co-finance a slate of feature films for 2011 and 2012.Rcr and Spwa first partnered in 2009 to produce blockbuster sequels such as 30 Days of Night: Dark Days and Stomp the Yard: Homecoming.The 2011 slate will include S.W.A.T.: Firefight, Hostel Part III, and Quarantine 2: Terminal. Beverly Hills-based private equity firm Rcr Media Group -- backed by Angolan entrepreneur Rui Costa Reis -- has renewed its slate financing deal with Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions through 2012.
Rcr Media, led by Reis and Eliad Josephson, first got into business with Sony Worldwide in 2009. Titles the firm has co-financed include 30 Days of Night: Dark Days and Stomp the Yard: Homecoming, both direct-to-dvd sequels.
The 2011 slate includes Hostel III and Quarantine 2: Terminal, in addition to Hit List.
Josephson and Reis take an en executive producing credit on all projects.

Who’d have thought that Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider and David Spade would be in a film under the banner of Grown Ups? The proof is in the pudding, as the latest Happy Madison production lands on Blu-ray and DVD today.

Given the cast – a rag-tag bunch of comedians known for their gurning man-child routines – it isn’t surprising that Grown Ups is far from mature. In fact, immaturity abounds as the crew verbally bash one another while Kevin James falls over as many times as possible in under two hours and everyone laughs at how outrageous Rob Schneider’s relationship with a pensioner is.
At this point my reviews usually look at plot mechanics and the subtleties of the film-making process, so this is going to have to be a short section. Grown Ups is brazen, unrefined and silly, with little in the way of nuance, »
