In Southland, Season 2 Episode 2 "Butch and Sundance," Officer Sherman mistakenly advises dispatch that the license plate of the suspect's vehicle reads: "Three-Tom-Henry-OCEAN-Four-Seven-Nine." Although Ocean is the correct phonetic for the letter O, most states, including California, do not implement the letter on state License Plates because it can easily be confused with the number Zero.
