Geoff and Ruby commiseration with Xavier's mourning is cut short by indignation over a newspaper quote from Palmer, who denies it being accurate, that the human trade victims are a burden. Leah doesn't allow her date with handyman Hazem being disturbed by Palmer's gross insinuations about Hazem's invoicing. Aden happily accepts a job at the diner.
