A reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White, a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother, who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.
After Iggy's long-time girlfriend is murdered and the whole town agrees he is the killer, he awakens one morning with horns and the townspeople soon confess their sins. Once knowing the sins of the people, he is facing the true killer of his beloved girlfriend.
When Ig tells his brother Terry to swallow all his pills, Terry puts a few in his mouth and uses the little bit of liquid in his glass to swallow them. There shouldn't be any liquid left after that. In the next scene with Terry, the glass is full as he swallows more pills. See more »

I absolutely loved this movie. Daniel Radcliffe gives the performance of his career (so far) here as a young man accused of murdering his girlfriend and wakes up one day with horns on his head. His quest to unmask the real killer reveals a lot about human nature, anxiety-based small-town prejudice, and the healing nature of true love. The film itself is gorgeous to look at, with top-notch special effects and a perfectly suited score adding doses of melancholy that reverberate throughout the film. My one complaint is that is has a few endings too many and becomes a little too violent in the end, but this has the potential to be a modern-day "Edward Scissorhands." See it for sure.
