Plot Summary

  • A documentary focusing on the making of the album 'BLAKROC', from conception to completion. 'BLAKROC' is a new music project spearheaded by Hip Hop mogul, Damon Dash, and the Akron, Ohio ,Rock/Blues duo, The Black Keys. The album was created on the spot, in the studio over the course of 11 days,and features the talent of 11 high profile artists including Mos Def, Rza, Raekwon, Pharoae Monch, Q-Tip, Jim Jones, and many more. The documentary follows the Black Keys on a musical discovery, in and out of the studio, collaborating with some of the most unique MC's in the game, blending the genres of Blues an Hip Hop, and creating a sound that has never been heard before.
