Storyline

Nick is prevented from conducting a safety inspection aboard the Mckenzie, out of Glasgow, by its captain who says he under orders from the owners. He finds the owners do not exist and the ship has disappeared when he returns. Nobody will back him up and it appears that he is the only one who saw it. His only clue is a mysterious woman, who claims to be the captain's wife. She says she warned her husband not to sail. However, unable to find the ship, Nick thinks he must be going crazy. Then a photo of the captain aboard the ship, given to him by the woman, rejuvenates his efforts to find out what has happened. Written by jem
