Live from Berlin, Germany

Your hosts are Vince McMahon, Jim Ross & The Honky Tonk Man

Bret Hart Vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley

Hunter wins by DQ after Bret shoves the referee. Chyna runs into the ring and challenges Bret Hart. Bret politely declines to fight her. This was a solid opening match with the ability to be even better. Hunter wasn't fully refined yet

Intercontinental Championship

Rocky Maivia (C) Vs Vader (W/Paul Bearer)

Rocky wins by DQ after Mankind runs out and nails The Rock with the urn. I enjoyed this match for the most part, aside from the abrupt ending. The two had good chemistry with each other and I wanted more.

We get clips of ECW invading Monday Night Raw last week.

The Sultan Vs Flash Funk

The Sultan wins by submission with the Camel Clutch. More focus was placed on Paul Heyman & Jerry Lawler calling in. This was during the phase Rikishi got a mini push as The Sultan. It was a boring match.

Sycho Sid cuts a quick promo on defending his WWF title against Mankind later tonight.

Ahmed Johnson is out next for an interview. Ahmed accepts Farooq's challenge for a street fight at Wrestlemania, but he's not coming alone this time. Ahmed leads the crowd in a "You're going down" chant.

WWF Championship

Sycho Sid (C) Vs Mankind (W/Paul Bearer)

Sid wins with the powerbomb. There was a lot of punching and kicking, but it turned into a watchable match. This is a testament to how good Mick Foley was. Praise aside, it's still an average match.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin is live at WWF Studios's for an interview. Vince asks Austin if Austin has any remorse for what he did to Bret. Austin says the only remorse he has is that he didn't hit Bret harder with the chair, He says he's tired of hearing Bret whine about being screwed. Austin says he's been screwed for 7 years. He wants to know why when Shawn Michaels has a knee injury, they make a video for him. When Austin wrestled at the Final Four, he had a blown out knee. He says nobody else would have wrestled for over 25 minutes with one knee. He's the WWF Champion, and nobody can tell him any different. He says he doesn't know of many submissions, but he'll beat up Bret until he says I quit. He says nobody can make him say "I quit" Vince asks why Austin is so bitter. Austin says Vince treats him like a dog, and he reminds him of a jackass.

European Championship

The British Bulldog Vs Owen Hart

The British Bulldog wins the title by countering a roll-up into one of his own. What a tremendous match this was! It was perfectly paced with some terrific moves and counters from both. The Bulldog looked very motivated here and it showed. Great stuff overall.

Overall, this is quite an enjoyable episode of Raw. The matches were great and the storyline advancement was good as well. This show gets a high recommendation from yours truly.
