Storyline

In Howard Fileman's house, which is for sale, estate agent Katie Selnick and two prospective buyers discover a corpse, charred except for a fat foot. Clever forensics gradually show it was actually two people, a fat man and PricoCo saleswoman Meg Tracy, who recently lost half her excessive weight and met her lover in a fetishist club. Seely however is greatly distracted by a surprise visits from 'pops' Hank Booth, who left his retirement home after hitting a male nurse and now tries to 'correct' Booth's life, but rather lost control of his own. B&B investigate a double homicide - the corpses are of an incredibly obese couple bludgeoned and burned to death on a bed in a vacant house up for sale. Booth's grandpa comes to pay a visit and stay with Booth for a little while. Grandpa is played by Ralph Waite, who played Jethro's dad on NCIS a season or two back. So I guess this makes Booth and Jethro related somehow. Not much else going on here, although Waite gets to dance with two very large women in a nightclub for large women. I would be happy to see Waite turn up again on a future episode. As the man who raised Booth (and his brother), Grandpa quickly sees that B&B are meant for each other and makes no bones about it. Pun intended. As usual, the killer is rather obvious, but that's part of the fun as B&B, and Brennan's lab crew, must figure things out bit by bit.
