Did You Know?

The episode's official photos show characters in Halloween costumes, but there is nothing remotely relating to Halloween at all in accessible copies of the episode. In the original airing of the episode, the cold open was something like a Halloween party in the warehouse. Michael pretends to commit suicide. Apparently, viewers were so extremely offended by the context that the opening was then removed from all reruns and DVD copies as well as digital streaming sources like Netflix.See more »
Miscellaneous: Michael says that he doesn't have Jan's cell phone number because she won't give it to him. However, in Season 4, he accidentally calls Jan's cell phone while on a date with Pam's landlord after they had broken up.See more »
