When Briggs pulls out his gun to threaten Kate we hear the sound of the pistol's hammer being cocked back , yet the hammer remains closed the entire scene.

When Kate is first shown in the hospital (about 1 hour,39 minutes) her nasal cannula is laying loosely on her face. A moment later, when the scene cuts back and she regains consciousness, it is properly tucked behind her ears and secured under her chin.

Captain Camp would not have been at the helm while his ship was passing through the Panama Canal. Panama Canal pilots take over the ship during passage.
